Ingredients

  • 1 cup Ocean Spray White Cran-Strawberry juice

  • 1/2 cup Passion Herbal Tea (brewed and chilled) with 2 tbsp sugar

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk (sweetened vanilla coconut milk is best for that authentic flavor)

  • 1/4 cup fresh or freeze-dried strawberries, sliced or halved

  • Ice cubes

  • Optional: 1-2 tablespoons simple syrup or agave nectar (if you prefer it sweeter)

  • Equipment:

  • Tall glass

  • Spoon or muddler (optional, for fresh strawberries)

Directions

  • Instructions:
  • Prepare Tea (if not pre-made): If you don’t have chilled Tazo Passion Herbal Tea ready, brew one tea bag in 1/2 cup of hot water. Let it steep for 5 minutes, then remove the tea bag and allow the tea to cool completely. For quicker chilling, you can place it in the refrigerator or freezer for a few minutes.
  • Prepare Strawberries: If using fresh strawberries, you can gently muddle a few slices at the bottom of your serving glass to release more flavor. If using freeze-dried, you can add them directly.
  • Fill Glass with Ice: Fill your tall serving glass generously with ice cubes.
  • Combine Liquids: Pour the white cranberry-strawberry juice (or Strawberry Acai Refresher base) into the glass.
  • Add Tea: Next, add the chilled Tazo Passion Herbal Tea to the glass.
  • Add Sweetener (Optional): If you prefer a sweeter drink, stir in 1-2 tablespoons of simple syrup or agave nectar now.
  • Add Coconut Milk: Slowly pour the coconut milk over the mixture. This will create the characteristic “pink” color and creamy texture.
  • Garnish: Add the remaining fresh or freeze-dried strawberry slices to the drink.
  • Stir and Serve: Give everything a gentle stir to combine the layers. Serve immediately and enjoy your homemade Starbucks Pink Drink!

Notes

  • Chilled Components: Ensure all your liquid ingredients are well-chilled before mixing for the best refreshing experience.
  • Adjust Sweetness: Taste the drink before adding extra sweetener. The juice and sweetened coconut milk might be enough for your preference.
  • Freeze-Dried vs. Fresh Strawberries: Freeze-dried strawberries absorb some liquid and provide a chewy texture, while fresh strawberries offer a burst of natural fruit flavor. Both work well!
