Ingredients

  • 6-8 falafel balls (homemade or store-bought)

  • 1/2 cup hummus

  • 2 large tortilla or pita wrap

  • 1/4 cup chopped cucumber

  • 1/4 cup chopped tomatoes

  • 1/4 cup shredded lettuce

  • 2 tablespoons Tzatziki Sauce

  • For the Tzatziki Sauce:

  • 1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

  • 1/2 cucumber, grated and squeezed dry

  • 1 clove garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • Salt to taste

  • Optional: fresh dill or mint

  • Optional toppings: hot sauce, pickled red onions, fresh parsley,feta

Directions

  • Make the Tzatziki:
  • Mix yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and herbs.
  • Chill for 15–20 minutes for best flavor.
  • Warm the Falafel: If the falafel balls are not already warm, heat them in an oven or microwave until heated through.
  • Prepare the Wrap: Lay the tortilla or pita wrap flat on a clean surface.
  • Add Hummus: Spread the hummus evenly over the center of the wrap, leaving some space at the edges.
  • Add Fillings: Top the hummus with the warm falafel balls, chopped cucumber, tomatoes, and shredded lettuce.
  • Drizzle with Sauce: Drizzle the tahini sauce over the falafel and vegetables. Add hot sauce or other desired toppings.
